Our Mission
Kern Valley Animal Shelter is dedicated to providing a safe haven for animals in need. Our team is committed to promoting animal welfare and the well-being of our community. We strive to create a compassionate environment where every animal is given the care and respect they deserve.
At Kern Valley Animal Shelter, we offer services in compliance with our contract with Kern County Animal Services including animal sheltering, vaccinations, microchips, and county licensing. (We are unable to administer the rabies vaccine) Additionally, we can provide resources for spays and neuters. (We do not have a veterinarian on staff) Our passionate team works tirelessly to ensure that every animal receives the love and attention they require. We take pride in our unique approach to animal welfare, standing out as a beacon of hope for both the animals and the people we serve.
